Christ The Lord Is Risen Today!!

Happy easter everybody!! Every year on either on Good Friday of Easter I watch the Passion of the Christ by Mel Gibson. It reminds me of just how much Jesus had to pay for our sins. In modern history when a soldier dies it is said he gives the greatest sacrifice. However, Jesus is really the one who gave the greatest sacrifice. Not only did he die an innocent man in one of the most horrible ways ever, but he took on all our sins, a sinless son of God, and his spirit died too. As I wait for the sunrise this morning, I remember that 2000 years ago my Jesus was raised from the dead, came back to life in human form, so He could return to heaven where he is seated at the right hand of the Father. He said to his disciples when He departed into the clouds, "I go to prepare a place for you" Truly, I cannot wait to see what He has in store for us. The only thing I know about the splendor of heaven is that nobody on earth can picture how wonderful it will be :)
God bless, and have a blessed and wonderful Easter Sunday!!

I hope everybody has a great Easter today! My easter will consist of watching a movie, drinking mountain dew livewire for breakfast (because I can, not because I like it that much..) a couple doughnuts or a pb&h sandwich for lunch, and getting really bored.. fun!!!
I might take Brandon and Kristin to the river this afternoon, but idk about that yet..

well, they decided not to go to the river because it would be to high for swimming.. crazy huh?? I wouldn't want to go swimming anyway!! If I had my new camera I would've gone anyway to get some cool pix of the flooded river and smaller creeks that flow between giant limestone bluffs. Paddy Creeck is really a beautiful place. If I hadn't gotten home at like 2:00 I probably would've gone anyway, but I could only be there for like an hour or so, so that wouldn't be much fun..
We should get together a group of teens and go camping there sometime! It's one of those hidden gems with no electricity, running water, or stuff like that, so not too many people from out of state go there.. iow- fewer beer parties :)
I'm having a pretty good easter so far :) usually we have family over, or do some fun stuff, but not this year :( I'm havin' fun doing nothing anyway ;)
