- Where to start.. I guess the most important thing about me is my love of God, I love atvs, and I'm not gonna lie, I've gotten pretty good at going places where few of my friends can, and not wrecking.. I'm a Biological Science student at Missouri University of Science and Technology. I'm a fairly open person, it's easy to get to know me. I love my friends, and my social life is important to me. I try to be fun to be around. It's impossible to keep me angry for long :) I'm a strong Christian, and I love my friends, and love making new ones! I'm a Combat Medic in the National Guard. I drive a black dodge SRT-4, and a lifted chevy blazer. Both are really cool :) I really like getting comments on my blog *hint* *hint* =)

I work at a vet clinic in Independence, Missouri.
Where are you thinking of going to vet school at?
Do you volunteer at a large animal practice?
Cool. I was seriously considering vet school, but the expense of it is what got me. Being a girl, i don't plan on having a career my whole life but i knew i would probably have to work longer than i wanted too to pay off my school loans with vet school.
Yeah, large animal people tend to think they can do it all without a vet.
yea, I almost gave up on vet school because of the cost, but I joined the military, so they pay for almost everything :) At the clinic the vet says the biggest competition isn't other vets, it's the people who try to do stuff that's better left to a vet and end up loosing their animals.
The military has some wonderful benefits!
I have horses and it's always hard to know when to call a vet and when not too. It gets so expensive with 3 horses so i can be kind of reluctant to call the vet for emergencies. A lot of large animal people tend to think that they don't need a vet and usually don't call a vet until it is too late.
